Biped practice

Im just working on a simple animation of climing down a ladder. (small steps.. small steps ;) )

The biped walks up to a ladder that decends through a circular hole in the floor and decends it. Thats it. Still a lot to get right. I have only made a small use of biped layers, to adjust the bodies' COM away from the ladder. I have found layers only useful for adding simple changes that I immediately blend down onto the base layer. Otherwise you would have to edit each of the keys in the base layer individually. If I try to do anything more complicated I find that I am messing up past work in ways I do not quite understand yet.

This sort of animation could possibly be used in the background of a 'pollen' scene for example.
